E PLUS: Thanks for being our guest on Ejirostoryblog. Congratulations on the publication of your two books.
Can we have a brief background of the books?
Rose: My First book "Deceptive Pain." is a story about a contact of mine. She was driven out of her home and by the time I met her, she had backslided, however through the direction of the holy spirit I was able to help her return to God.
Two or three years later, her husband returned to her, pleading for forgiveness and the relationship has been restored.
This led to the inspiration behind the story "Deceptive Pain." God said:
"Why don't you write this into a book?"
I haven't written a book before, however to the glory of God, I have been able to write this book.
I believe that as many as would read this book, they will be blessed by the story.
The second book:
"Spiritual and Productive Christianity." is born out of my personal experience. I had a business opportunity but due to financial constraint, I couldn't afford a vehicle needed for the business thus I lost the opportunity.
This made me to ponder on the possibility of not loosing this business opportunity onlyif I had met people who would have done this business with me, thus the inspiration for the became:
"Spiritual and Productive Christianity." coupled with what I learnt from Bishop Hartford illoputaife(Late ).
My friends' experiences who are part of various cooperatives, ideas from various networks also played vital role in this book.
As Christians, we think being in Church is all about being blessed spiritually, however it goes beyond that. As a people, we can be blessed financially too.
The first Church experienced that, they were blessed, spiritually, physically, materially and when they worked so hard, they lived in love. They prayed together, they did businesses together, they grew in every area of their lives and that's what brought increase.
The Church grew exceedingly in numerical strength, not because they knew how to pray, sing dance and praise God but because they fared well in every aspect of their lives. Various vocations like farming, fishing e.t.c complimented one another.
Everyone wants to be part of a winning team hence I'm really thankful that I met the ministry of Bishop Harford illoputaife, He used helping people to enrich
themselves financially in the area of their businesses to expand the Church before his demise.
I believe if we apply this spiritual and Productive method, it will not only increase the Church but also, our financial life will be enriched and we will be blessed in every area of our lives, individually and collectively.
Even our social lives will be blessed and the goodness of God will reign with splendid numerical growth from every nook and cranny and the blessings of God will be enriched in our lives in Jesus name.
E PLUS: Can you tell us about your experience in the course of writing these books?
Rose: I'm a spiritual person. I'm always led before I do anything and that's why I don't go through any problem when I do things. Before I start anything, I bring it before God and He takes me one step at a time, it gets matured eventually.
By the mercy of God, I had everything easily, He has graced me all through, to Him be all the glory in Jesus name.
E PLUS: Let's talk more about your music, the experience thus far? Did you project the music before the book or both occurred simultaneously?
Rose: I have been into music for a very long time. I was a member of a chorale group in School. I sang just for the sake of it, then in 2015 my daughter bought me a very good phone that was quite compatible for sound recording. This inspired me to record my songs until 2017 I had an instruction from God to record my songs.
I put it to God to provide the finance for the recording and by His mercy, love and goodness upon monline, the fund was provided
Today, my songs and books are online.
E PLUS: What should people expect from reading your books and listening to your songs.?
Rose: The first book "Deceptive Pain." points out that no matter what you experience in life, do not think running from God is the solution, rather running to God is the solution. Just like my convert ran away from God without any solution but when she ran to God, in just less than three years her marriage was restored.
So regardless of the situation, if we run to God, we will get the solution for whatever we want.
For the second book "Spiritual and Productive Christianity." I believe with the knowledge I have acquired and inspiration by the mercy of God, it will enable the Church to see themselves as a people in the body to help people become successful spiritually, physically, materially, socially as believers.
We don't need to go far to become successful , we can become successful amongst ourselves, no need to blame the government because we are peculiar people, a holy nation, we have been called out of darkness.
I was listening to a message by a pastor in a radio station while on my way to Church, the pastor was talking about "Spiritual enrichment." He talked about nations like America that have been blessed because they decided to work by the principles of God.
The Pastor talked about how the Americans began to have problems when they detached themselves from things they previously did in honouring God like the ten commandment, praying. However as soon as they returned to doing the right thing, their nation was restored thus whatever we are doing we must reckon that we can have it all in God.
We can compliment one another in Love. Apostle Paul said when we have, we will be willing to distribute, to communicate. If I have enough why should I not give to my brethren to be a blessing to them?
If I have a business to help them with, why should I not give them? That's why we are one together in Christ.
Whatever we have here, at most after 150 years we are out of this place, then what happens later? We face God who knows that you had everything and you couldn't help anybody! God wouldn't be happy.
Our impact on people are those stars on our crown that apostle talks about because God is enriched by souls thus I believe if we can effect the knowledge in this second book "Spiritual and Productive Christianity." the church will be enlarged.
Then the song "Goshen" is inspired by the church "Victory Christian Church." I got the inspiration during my morning devotion which I recorded on my phone.
The song is to support the ministry of victory Christian Church because as a place where I'm rooted, I want the best for it and I pray God will do the best for the ministry.
The second song is titled : "The bible."
I have always known that I'm married to my bible. I had to do this one year bible plan which culminated to two year plan. Then, I progressed to reading Christian literatures, I wasn't aware that I had been spending less time with God and the holy spirit wasn't happy about it.
Then God said "You like reading christian literatures, you don't read your Bible." and I reckoned that was the truth, the only time I read my bible was in church, during preaching of the word, then when I get home I open my Bible to clarify what I don't understand however I had become inconsistent and I didn't realise that the holy spirit was not pleased.
When the holy spirit rebuked me, I repented and returned to being deliberate about reading my bible. I would place a bible each in all three of my bags to enable me have access to a bible wherever I went.
One fateful thursday by 2.am, I woke up with an inspiration from God for an "Ever green." song despite that I had another ever green song in the pipeline.
The song goes thus:
"My bible and I...
and the gift of God is without measure,
a wonderful treasure,
My bible and I."
I began to ponder over the song and before I knew it, the song stayed in my heart. Already I have recorded five songs, however "Goshen." and "The bible are online, currently. The rest will be released soon by the mercies of God in Jesus name.
E PLUS: Amongst your songs, which is inspiring and fulfilling for you?
Rose:All my songs are inspiring because there is none I wrote casually. Often when I read the lyrics of the songs I just tell myself, it can't possibly be me who wrote these songs. They are all inspired by the holy ghost.
E PLUS: Do you have any word of inspiration for someone who might be desiring where you are now?
Rose: By the mercies of God, I believe that there are more heights to climb, more steps to take and I know step by step I will get there however without God I wouldn't have come this far. Anywhere we find ourselves in life, we should always work with God.
Like I always pray:
"Father let me please you every second, minute and hour of my life. Don't let me do anything outside of you because I don't want to regret."
I hate regrets, thus every step of the way we should carry God along, let God be part of every second of our lives.
If I was told I would write a book today, I would say: "It's not possible." However currently I have seven books yet unpublished. That is God and each of the books are inspired by God including hundreds of songs I'm yet to produce.
The provision was by God's grace.
